The amazing accomplishments of all Texas GEAR UP grants deserve to be shared with the world, right? That’s definitely a no-brainer. The tricky part is figuring out the most effective way to introduce TXGU to the uninitiated. Conveniently, we’ve developed a toolkit of resources to help you share the TXGU story with any potential audience you may encounter.

• Elevator pitch script (for when you’ve just got a minute to sell a prospective supporter on all the incredible work TXGU is doing)
• PowerPoint presentation (fully customizable to be used with a variety of audience types)
• One-sheet (appropriate for just about any audience you encounter)
• Follow-up script (to help make that final push for support from a potential volunteer or partner)
• Student lesson plan (to help explain to kids exactly what TXGU is all about)

Of course, the materials are intended to help you educate parents, teachers, school administrators, community members, potential partners, and even students about the goals and successes of your specific TXGU grant—so we encourage you to customize and tailor all the resources to meet your exact needs.
